Born in Kiskunfélegyháza in 1993, Tamás Vígh is currently finishing his studies as a pastor-theologian at the Debrecen Reformed Theological University. During these studies he did research on the connection between visual arts and religion. Since 2019 he works as a freelance photographer. As a member of various Christian organisations he is working on cultural events to strengthen the connection between film and religion. He is writing film reviews in the weekly magazine of the Hungarian Reformed Church.

At the 57th film festival Visions du Réel in Nyon the Interreligious Jury has awarded its Prize to the documentary "Dentro" by Elsa Amiel.
Jacqueline Jansen’s ‘Sechswochenamt’ won the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the achtung berlin 2026 film festival. The jury awarded a Special Mention to Katrin Sikora’s documentary ‘Schwarze Häuser’.
