Born in Mexico City in 1988, he studied Hispanic Philology and Audiovisual Communication, both at the University of Navarra (Spain). Currently, he is a PhD student at the University of the Andes in Chile. He is writing his dissertation on violence in contemporary Mexican cinema.
Since 2016, he is the director of the Degree in Communication at the Panamerican University in Mexico City, where he teaches classes in cinema history, audiovisual narratives, and written communication. His film reviews can be found on the portal palomitascaramelizadas.com blog.

Current issues

An interreligious jury has chosen the film "Orphan" by László Nemes as winner of the Interfaith Award at the Hungarian Film Week 2026.
