Christa Miranda (*1961) is a bookseller, dancer, editor, journalist, producer and film author with an MAS in Applied History from the University of Zurich. For the last 30 years she has worked as an editor and producer at Swiss television SRF for various cultural programmes, most recently as deputy editorial director of the programme "Sternstunden". She made documentaries, programmed and produced talks and films on religious, philosophical and socio-political topics and wrote articles. In 2021 she founded the company filmtext, is an independent producer and film author and is working on her latest documentary film. She is a lecturer at the CAS Documentary Film at the Bern University of the Arts and was a jury member at the Festival du Film Français d'Helvétie in Biel.

At the Oulu's Children's and Youth International Film Festival 2024 the Church Media Foundation presented its "Look at Me..." Award to Nellie Rajala for her film "The Elf Ring".
Sascha Keilholz, director of the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg, in his greetings at the Ecumenical Reception reflects the actual political challenges after the US elections and the threats to democracy.
