Lost in Mississippi

ln May 1993 Jim Chambers stumbled across an alarming article in the Los Angeles Times. ln the space of five years, 47 people had committed suicide in Mississippi state prisons. Over half of them were Afro-Americans and most of them had hanged themselves. Just coincidence? Could the forthcoming investigation be trusted? Was the Klan becoming active again - was this lynch-justice disguised as suicide?
