Sandro is a 40-year old Tbilisi teacher, who still lives with his parents. His mother constantly bugs him to grow up and get married, but Sandro has little luck with the women he and his single friend look up on dating sites. After another unsuccessful date Sandro meets hairdresser Manana and falls in love with her. However, Manana turns out to be married and her husband Tengo turns out to be released on probation. Sandro’s blind date with a married woman evolves into an absurd love story. (Festival information)

Festivals

The Ecumenical Jury 2014 awarded two films, both from Caucasian countries. The Ecumenical Prize went to THE ABODE by Lusine Sargsyan from Armenia, and a Commendation to BLIND DATES by Levan Koguashvili from Georgia, which also won the Silver Apricot by the International Jury.
