The local churches and the festival organise the Ecumenical Reception of the churches on November 6 in the Oberkirche St. Nikolai. Reverend Christoph Polster will welcome the guests for the churches, Angelika Obert for the church film organisations, INTERFILM and SIGNIS, and programme director Bernd Buder for the festival. INTERFILM jury coordinator Hans Hodel will speak about the different positions of the churches regarding homosexuality which is the topic of the festival's special section >Focus< this year. Entitled "queerEAST", it shows films about the social reality of homosexuals in central and eastern Europe.
