The INTERFILM Jury is awarding this prize to a film that tells eight different tales of alienation, under which children and adolescents are deemed to suffer the most. In spite of all adversity and adult incapacity, the film ultimately implies that its protagonists are actively seeking the power and orientation they require for their future lives. The film NAKED HARBOUR by Aku Louhimies skilfully interlinks several episodes to present a highly convincing dramaturgical realization of its existential subject-matter.
