Roland Kauffmann was press officer of the Protestant churches in Alsace and Lorraine and head of the Protestant media library in Strassbourg. Since 2009 he is pastor at the Protestant church Saint Étienne in Mulhouse and animates the association Saint-Étienne Réunion which organises cultural and art events in the church. In addition, he organises film talks for Pro-Fil, a French film organisation of Protestant origins which promotes film art and supports INTERFILM.
