Ivan Madeo (*1976 in Switzerland) is a producer and screenwriter from Italy, born in Switzerland. After having studied psychology and film critics in Fribourg and having been experienced in advertising in Switzerland, Germany and Italy, he started working in the film industry. Since 2006 he has been leading the two production companies Contrast Film in Berne and Zurich and developped and produced award-winning feature films like THE CIRCLE (DER KREIS) and WONDERLAND (HEIMATLAND) as well as shorts like A WORLD FOR RAUL (UN MUNDO PARA RAUL). He is a member of the European Film Academy, the Swiss Film Academy, the Swiss Filmproducers’ Association and the Swiss Film Commission for documentaries. (Photo: © module+)
