Murti Hadi Wijayanto is a Jesuit priest who has been working at the Puskat Audio Video Center in Indonesia for 18 years, producing religious programs for national television in cooperation with the Church, the Indonesian government and national and international NGOs. His documentaries produced by Puskat received awards in 1999 and 2000 at the "Religion Today" festival in Trento. In 2012 he produced a film biography entitled "Soegija" about the first bishop of Java, Albertus Soegijapranata, an Indonesian national hero. Currently, Murti continues his studies to obtain a Master of Fine Art at the Ecole Internationale de Cinéma (EICAR) in Saint Denis, Paris.

The Hof Film Festival is now in its 58th year and has become a hallmark of the city, which is why Hof likes to call itself the “Home of Films,” a phrase that is said to have originated with Wim Wenders. In the late 1960s and 1970s, the Munich film scene came to Hof (...). As a nostalgic reminder, this year there was a 35mm screening of Fassbinder's early work “Gods of the Plague”.
