Elder Brother

As a road movie through the vast Chinese landscapes, the film begins with a metaphor for the transition between two worlds in which everything is in contrast: modern Hong Kong and China, which have been reunited since 1997. The focus is a young man from Hong Kong, who by reference to a postcard from Qinghai in China is looking for a brother who has disappeared three years ago. Whether he reaches his goal is uncertain.
A young man launches on a journey in search of a goal whose outcome is uncertain. The moments of silence recall the spiritual dimension of life. In a very simple, refined and poetic manner the author reveals the nature of relationships replete with respect and tenderness.
