55th Locarno International Film Festival

The jury awards the film for its coherent cinematic construction, but also because it underlines a painful but necessary process which hopes to achieve reconciliation as a crucial step towards a true, new life.

The film confronts us with the reality of death as experienced by a young boy who, step by step and thanks to his inner vision, learns to accept what seemed unacceptable.
