Pastor and film critic of Italian and Northern Irish descent. Born in Belfast in 1975. He graduated in theology with a thesis on the pastoral models depicted in Ingmar Bergman’s films. He is a founding member of the Associazione Protestante Cinema “Roberto Sbaffi” and a member of INTERFILM. He has published several pop theology books, including “The Gospel According to Star Wars” (2015). He hosts a film review programme for Italian Adventist Radio. Since 2005, he has been a pastor of the Methodist and Waldensian Churches in Italy. He is honorary citizen of Palermo.

Current issues

At the Oulu's Children's and Youth International Film Festival 2024 the Church Media Foundation presented its "Look at Me..." Award to Nellie Rajala for her film "The Elf Ring".
