Tom Damm studied Protestant theology in Münster, Wuppertal, Edinburgh and Tübingen. He is the author of the book “Kurzfilme im Gottesdienst” and has worked as a film journalist, educational advisor and musician. In 2002 he brought the "Church and Cinema" series of events to Cineworld Recklinghausen and in 2010 he helped to found the Recklinghausen Church Film Festival. He is currently the parish priest in Schwerte.
