An attractive cosmetics company manager is puzzled by the interest taken in her by a freight train engineer. As a child he had caused the death of her parents and now he wants to make amends for what he did – with a vague offer of help. After overcoming her initial aversion towards this timid man, the woman reflects upon her own past and upon life’s sense and values. (Festival information)
A strange man offers to the main character the mirror which she needs to find a way to reconcile with her past and to accept the challenge of her present life. In an original and sophisticated way the movie shows the process of finding deeper levels of personal self understanding.
