Years later, a former soldier who was subjected to inhuman torture by a sadistic sergeant in a Chilean penal camp for refusing to shoot rebellious prisoners meets his tormentor again. The latter can no longer remember anything: he has amnesia. (filmdienst)
The film treads in a fictional manner the need of individual and society to resolve the conflicts of the past. It opposes amnesia at many layer of society and provokes the question of responsibility, justice and reconciliation.
