In a society that is losing its bearings and forgetting its roots, Ken Loach's film has the double merit of inviting us not to lose memory of the past, a condition for opening up a different future, and of reminding us that despite the danger of ideologies, personal commitment, which makes one responsible in history, remains a value of topicality.
