Den man älskar

Lena was once brutally beaten up and abused by her ex-husband Hannes. She now lives with Alf, a kind-hearted fishmonger in whose shop she also works. But then Hannes is released from prison and traumatized Lena’s old fears break loose. Although Hannes has absolved an anti-violence training in prison, he is driven by the desire to seek out Lena. And despite her fears Lena, too, cannot resist a certain attraction she feels to Hannes. The former couple begin to see each other again – and Alf can do nothing to prevent the love of his life from slipping slowly but surely from his fingers. (Festival information)
