A stately four million Ukrainians currently work abroad in Western Europe to earn money to send to their families back home. Daryna is one of them. She left her husband Dmytro and daughter Myroslawa behind in a little Ukrainian village to make better wages in far away Genoa. But how far is one willing to take the loss of identity for the sake of money? (...) After her return, she is not only disappointed with the traditional outdoor toilet in her new house, but also in her less-than-charming grumpy husband. She is also disappointed in the mistrust that she feels in the village. (...) Will she be able to break out of her lonely, conflicted defensive position here as well as there? (Festival information)
