Ukraine, 2013. It is a turbulent time for Olga, a fifteen-year-old elite gymnast, and her mother, a journalist. The people’s unrest flares up on the streets of Kyiv. When the regime tries to silence her mother’s writing, Olga is sent to Switzerland, her dead father’s homeland. While the tensions grow in Ukraine, Olga struggles with her own battle in a new country. An intense film about athletics, politics and finding your place. (Festival information, BUFF Malmö 2022)
