When Maja arrives on an isolated island to settle a family inheritance issue, she doesn’t expect to stay longer than planned. In the midst of newly stirred emotions and through a series of unexpected events, Maja will finally confront questions from her past. The island’s residents live peculiar lives that they have grown accustomed to, particularly influenced by Ićo, the town mayor, and Nediljko, his business partner in the cultivation of eco-marijuana. Only after Maja grows closer to Saša do the dimensions of her unresolved family relationships become clear. The search for the inheritance becomes a quest for her own identity, as well as forgiveness.
