Dr. Katrin Rudolph is superintendent in the church district of Zossen-Fläming, south of Berlin. She studied theology in Berlin and Prague and holds a doctorate in contemporary history (from the Centre for Research on Antsemitism, TU Berlin). Before becoming a pastor, she worked as a historian focusing on the culture of remembrance. During her vicariate and as a parish minister, she served in various parishes in Berlin. For her, cinema means above all the art of storytelling, which is why she likes so much to make films fruitful for her work, especially when preaching.  Films from Eastern Europe and Israel are a particular favourite of hers.
