Marc Wehrlin, founder of SUISSEIMAGES, was a member of the city parliament of Bern, then of the Great Council of the Canton Bern, and since 1995 director of the film section of the Federal Office for Culture. 2004 he became deputy director of the Office. Since 2008, he works as consultant and mediator and is president of the Cinématheque Suissse, the Swiss film archive, since 2010.
