Simone Münch-Egli (*1987) is a pastor in the Reformed Church of Canton Bern.  Since 2017, she has been active in spiritual care and works in Wohlen near Bern and Worben near Biel (Switzerland). Simone Münch studied Protestant theology at the University of Bern. She is a member of the board of Interfilm Switzerland and served as a juror of the Human Rights Festival Zurich in 2020. Her film interests include ethical, socio-critical and queer topics.

At the 57th film festival Visions du Réel in Nyon the Interreligious Jury has awarded its Prize to the documentary "Dentro" by Elsa Amiel.
Following the promising nominations, the Oscar ceremony felt like a disappointment. For the first time, the Academy had nominated international films such as “Sentimental Value” from Norway and “Secret Agent” from Brazil in the Best Picture category. Yet in the end, it was American productions that walked away with all the awards.
