The INTERFILM Jury at the Nordic Film Days 2016 has awarded its Prize, endowed with 2500.- €, to the Norwegian film "Rosemari" by director Sara Johnsen. Co-produced with Denmark and Germany, it was also the opening film of the festival. The winner of the NDR Film Prize is "Hjartasteinn" (Heartstone) by Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson from Iceland. His film debut won the prize of the Ecumenical Jury in Warsaw before.
17 films were screened in the feature film competition of the festival which is dedicated to the film production of Scandinavia, Iceland and the countries bordering on the Baltic Sea. Altogether the Film Days presented 185 productions in its different sections, among them a renowned series of films for children and youth.
