The film depicts a form of agriculture that, in the context of liberalised world trade, turns animals into mere commodities. Through patient observation and calm editing, it directs the viewer's attention to the degrading objectification of the creature. It provokes questions about the limits of globalisation and about a different relationship between man and nature. (Photo: © Langjahr Film GmbH)
