Talking to people in Zehdenick, a small town in the marches of Brandenburg, just a few weeks before the first free elections in spring 1990. The hopes and fears of its business community, factory women, young people. The film returns to the milieu portrayed in Koepp's "Bricks of Brandenburg" and illustrates some attitudes that emerged when power began to change hands in the GDR.(DEFA Foundation)
