Country of origin

Jacqueline Barbaccia (*1948) spent her entire professional career in French air transport, but she has always been interested in cinema. Back in high school, she was a member of a film club run by a priest and a philosophy teacher. “Cinema can make you laugh or cry, but more often than not, it makes you think about social issues.”
Since 2012, she has been involved as an INTERFILM member in the organization of  the Ecumenical Jury in Cannes. She was also a juror for Pro-Fil, the Protestant film organisation in France, at the Montauroux festival.
