Christoph Rehmann-Sutter was president of the National Ethics Commission for medicine in Switzerland from 2001 to 2008. Since 2009, he has been a professor of theory and ethics in the bio-sciences at the University of Lu?beck’s institute for the history of medicine and scientific research, where he also offers film seminars for medical students. In his publications, he has addressed the subject of the ethics surrounding modern bio-sciences and medicine. His main focus is how ethically relevant aspects of modern life are portrayed on film.
