Marta Romanova-Jekabsone (*1981) is freelance film producer from Latvia with an experience of more than fifteen years in marketing and public relations, and a MA in Communications. She started her career in the film industry in 2014 as executive producer of the documentary “Ruch and Norie”. Her debut as a feature fiction producer was the family drama “BILLE” (2018, National Film Awards Best Feature 2018). Now she is producer of the feature “SOVIET MILK” (in progress). She is developing new film projects with international appeal. Her main interest is to create inspirational films with strong female characters and female storylines giving light and hope to the world.

Current issues

At the Oulu's Children's and Youth International Film Festival 2024 the Church Media Foundation presented its "Look at Me..." Award to Nellie Rajala for her film "The Elf Ring".
