International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL
Founded 1996 and under the direction of Michael Harbauer ever since, the International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience SCHLINGEL in Chemnitz every autumn presents a panorama of the latest international film production for children and youth. It is organised by the Saxon Service for Children and Youth Film in Chemnitz, since 2006 in cooperation with the State Institution of Saxony for private broadcasting and new media. 2016 the Ecumenical Jury awards prizes at the festival for the first time.
